While I worked on the plans to submit to the Veteran Administration or VA, I received a call informing me that one of the people discussing business with us will need to find another mortgage to secure a loan for more than $250 million. This will not delay my efforts as long as it’s resolved by the end of October. I have been out of the lope so long I cannot help with finding a mortgage company if the loan is sub-prime. Maybe someone will read this and comment with a contact that I can pass on to the people handling the applications.
Mean while, I need to continue with my assigned task, and that is informing people that we are pursuing business contracts with the VA, with the thought in mind, that maybe a company or person would like to discuss with us a possible business arrangement. We are veterans and would like to start a dialog with a company about subbing some work to our company in the following fields, telephone service, landscape drawings, building and remodeling. If you are a company already during business with the VA, you know that under the right conditions we can work out an agreement that provide for retaining the employees that is presently working in the department that you Would subcontracts to our company?
Yes I know that once I register with the VA I can also register with the vetBiz site which will give me access to other companies and persons that may need to enter into contracts, joint ventures, subcontracts and business start-ups with a veteran owned business. We are going to remain flexible, because any working agreement that will enable us to expand or start a business is within our business plans. This is a good time to contact the companies that have contracts with the government, because they need to show that they are during business with a veteran owned company or face questions at the time when they renew the contract with the Feds.
